This is a pretty simple topic for me. I live in California, so I have daily contact with many many Mexicans, Vietnamese, Koreans, etc. My gardener is a Mexican, my house cleaner is a Mexican, my opthalmologist is a Mexican, my barber is a Mexican, and my auto mechanic is a Mexican. All these people do good work and they all came here legally. The USA invites thousands of immigrants here every year.
I like all the Mexicans I know personally. I dislike the idea of allowing people to sneak across the borders - no matter who they are. It's against our laws, period. I think illegal entry here should be prosecuted just like any other crime. The evidence is pretty obvious - if you are here and you don't have a green card or other documentation, you are breaking the law.
I also believe it is a big mistake to print any government document, application, instructions, or any other official document in a language other than English. English is our official language and that's all there is to it. To those who don't want to learn it, I say, "Adios." I believe a language is the strongest link that creates a culture and holds a country together. Our country has been catering to a dozen or more "second languages" for many years, and I think that has weakened the USA and put us in more danger than we should tolerate.
