Fair Tax?

Income tax never made any sense to me. It still doesn't. I think Mr. Huckabee has a pretty good idea with his "fair tax" thing. If you make money, I think all of it should belong to you - not the IRS. If you save most of it, there is very little tax for you. If you spend a lot, there is a lot of tax. That kind of system makes sense to me. It seems to promote and reward behaviors we want in our citizenry, and to discourage those we don't.

But of course, the real reason I would like to see the fair tax implemented is that the IRS would vanish like a coin in a magician's hand. That's a trick I'd love to see.
